Tomara grew up in the mountains of Wyoming—a young spirit singing to the freedom sounds of the red, white, and blue American Dream. She was drawn to the mountains and the balk eagles flying over her, which gave her inspiration to be strong. At age 11, Tomara started performing music and has been creating original music since then. Her musical inspiration comes from folk, country, R&B, blues, and gospel genres. She became a well-known performer in venues throughout Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. Her goals brought her to Los Angeles where she has made a name for herself as a singer/songwriter and visionary. Her original music, from both “Roots” and “Both Feet in my Name” gives us a glimpse into her love of open spaces and family, and she tells life stories from the heart of an authentic country girl.
